
So last night I had the pleasure of going to the Great American Music Hall to see the Stones Throw US tour. It was a great show to say the least. Peanut Butter Wolf killed it with his amazing DJ and VJ skills. PBW stole the show with his old school videos, but more importantly was how he played the videos. Watching him and the video screen at the same time was amazing, I would almost go as far to say magical. Maybe it is because I’m out of the loop when it comes to video equipment, but I simply have not seen anything like what I saw last night. Basically he was using some type of video system that would allow him to use a turntable as the video play back controller.
