In an “early” celebration of todays holiday we here at Mile High Disco wish to get things started off right, that is if you have the energy for heavy bass electro. This new DJ mix that Brooklyn’s own AC Slater recently did for Mishka NYC hits hard, and if you are a fan of his work, you will love it. Personally I think the tracklist speaks for itself. ENJOY!
Get ready to have your fucking face wobbled off with this live DJ mix! Kapgun brings the wobble with his new electro, fidget, house mega mix. Prepare to have your head blown off by a selection of killer jump off tracks, ranging from pop house to murderously heavy electro and grimy fidget. Kapgun serves up each banger with robotic beat matched precision and relentless maximal over builds. People familiar with the mix have described it as a “terrorist attack on your mind” – lets see what you think…

As we begin to ease into summer and the festival season, I decided to bring you some tracks that will have people going crazy for a long time. The first two involve MSTRKRFT’s JFK, who is well known for re editing some of the heaviest records out there, and these two are no exception. First we have Bird Peterson’s remix of it aint love, the first track on KRFT’s Fist of God LP. When I saw them last month I was completely floored by this remix, which drops as hard as Mr. Miyagi’s remix of Rackhunters.
So sit back, grab a glass of crown royal, relax, and prepare for the party season. If your in SF this week I suggest you head over to WISH on wed night for THE THREAD before moving on to Jokers Of The Scene @ Vessel. Also on the horizon is the ETD Pop festival in Daly City (Cow Palace), which will certainly be a crowd pleaser. Get your tickets early!
Cheers,
Craw!
